Island Berth option is available
Flared bow sections create an expansive, well-ventilated space with standing headroom rarely found in yachts under 40 feet. Satin-finished cherry cabinets and drawers are framed and flush mounted with Corian countertops throughout. The cabin sole is gloss, clear Awlgrip teak & holly. Diagrammed below is one of two forepeak options: A dual-purpose wraparound lounge in bolstered Ultraleather, seating 4-6 people that converts to either twin berths or a large double by inserting a Vberth filler and cushions.

36z Interior
It’s nice to have a head that’s large enough to towel off and change in. On the 36z, for even more space, the mirrored head door swings out toward the galley to create privacy below by blocking off the view from the pilothouse.
Island Berth Layout Offered on the New MJM 36z
“Boston, May 10 - MJM announces a new feature for the 36z. A large
Island Berth similar to that on the 40z - in lieu of the wrap-around
lounge that converts with filler to a large V-Berth. The 78" long x 60"
wide island berth includes built-in bookcases and shelves. This
innovation results from 34z owner input. This owner said, "When cruising,
they always leave the V-berth made up and never used the table below decks...so
why not have the option of a really large island berth as on the 40z?"
